Rarely found. Aventurine is not actually a mineral, but rather an aggregate composed of quartz grains and mica scales. The largest deposits: India, Egypt, Russia- Urals (in mica schists), Siberia, Altai Mountains, Brazil, Chile, Spain, Austria. In Poland – found sporadically in alluvium of the Kaczawa River and in the Jizera Mountains. IMPORTANT: The texture pattern of the stones may differ minimally from that in the photograph.
