You need to peer closely at this watch to read the time because the balls are tiny. The most disappointing bit for me is that the hours are on the outside, and the minutes in the middle, which is the opposite of a normal watch dial, which has the minutes on the outside and the hours indicated by a shorter hour hand. However, it is best to think of this as a novelty watch above all else, and in that context it is quirky, cool, ingenious, intriguing, and nicely finished. If that is what you are looking for (like me), then this watch is a hit. Four stars – it would have been five if the minutes were round the outside and the hours in the middle.
