These large, vibrant red flowers adorning tall and upright plants are exceptionally well-suited for cutting. A truly spectacular and uncommon variety, it ranks among our favorites and has the potential to reach a height of 5ft (1.5m). It merits a place in any garden and is particularly cherished by children. Interestingly, it thrives when planted in sizable clusters at the base of large trees or near the edge of a pool. Surprisingly, it exhibits tolerance to partial shade. Additionally, there are now numerous cutting varieties available, featuring impressive and dramatic blooms. Of particular note to the writer is their user-friendly nature; arranging them requires no special skill – just place them in a (large) vase.
