The #523 hames are made like the #520 Tubular Steel hames with black powder coating. Available with the Bolt Style Trace Connector. These hames have the tubes and studs powder coated black, BUT all the other hardware is Stainless Steel – this makes these hames a little dressier. These work/farm hames are American made like all of our other hames. Our hames DO NOT come with Hame straps (the straps that connect the hames at the top and the bottom.) If you need these you will need to order them as well: ComfyFit Style Hame straps (made using the soft strap) Brahma Web Hame Straps (these are made using the stiffer brahma web) Hames are made on even sizes from 20″ to 32″.Please choose TWO sizes larger than your collar when ordering. For example; a 20″ collar will need 22″ hames. The size of our hames is measured from the top notch of the ratchet to the bottom of the hame. ** Please note: When you purchase a set of hames from us, ordering 1 will get you ONE set of hames, for ONE horse or pony. If you need a set for a pair then you need to order 2!!
