Are you looking for a simple way to connect to your Hyperbike? Customers have asked for something that would be fast and safe for hitching and unhitching their hyperbikes. Here it is, just from Chimacum Tack – the Hyperbike Quick Hitch. Here is a nice video from Mindy about how to use it. **Note: though these were originally designed to be used with the Hyperbike, they are now in use on many different types of vehicles from mini to horse size. If you have a wooden single tree and want a QR option for hitching and unhitching these are a wonderful option! The shackle is stainless, the slot connector is the same material and construction as our ComfyFit traces. Miniature horse/small pony (Shetland) size is 1″ wide. From the shackle to the slot is 6″. Overall length of the attachment is 7″. This will add 5 1/2″ to your overall trace length when hitched. Horse size is 1 1/4″ wide. Overall length of the attachment is 7 1/2″ long. This will add about 6″ to your trace length when hitched. You will need to have traces that have a combo end, that is the ring and slot, OR a Trace Adapter which you can find here: 48 Trace Adapter Hook These come as a pair. **Please note: when you use our style of quick release shackle you MUST use loctite or some kind of thread locker on the screw end of the shackle.
