These lead ropes are braided polyester ropes. Very, very soft in the hand. 1/2″ diameter x 8 feet long – comes with a stainless steel bull snap. Available in: Red, Blue, Dark Green, Purple or Gray – ALL THESE COLORS HAVE A WHITE TRACER STRIPE (Red and Gray not shown in the photo above) Plain Black – NO STRIPE What makes these lead ropes special? The snaps are attached to the lead rope with a piece of sewn nylon. The nylon is in place of a rope clamp. This makes the snap end a little lighter and less noisey as there isn’t any metal to bang around. But the BEST part is, the snaps are removable! Have a snap break or need a smaller snap for your mini? No problem! Simply slide the rope through the nylon, slide the snap off, then slide the new snap on, and thread the end of the rope back through the nylon slide. Walla! Two lead ropes for the price of one!
