Enamel Diamond Brooch “Venetian Court Jester” A dancing Venetian court jester, clever, flamboyant, masked and deeply connected to the political satire and theatre tradition of the Italian Renaissance. He is covered in various colours of enamel, but dances with a frilled collar set with a bow and diamonds and a club. Set with 34 small diamonds 0.18 ct. His movements are fluid and expressive. All in yellow and white gold 18K /750, 42.65 g. Hallmarks: 18K Italy Stock Number: 2115 The brooch was much loved and frequently worn. It is in good condition, but does have some small damages to the enamel (hardly visible).
