Originally, this platform was designed exclusively for government authorities; however, it is now also available to the private sector. At its core, the Milsig G3 Less Lethal features a fully mechanical, unregulated blow-forward (direct airflow) system. Unlike the paintball version, the LL model does not include a regulator or velocity adjustment. Instead, it comes factory-set to deliver 30 joules and, as a result, operates strictly in semi-auto, with no full-auto mode available. In addition, the launcher is compatible with .68 cal round or shaped projectiles and accepts both the 18-round magazine and the 32-round drum mag. Moreover, it can be hopper-fed; therefore, users gain increased flexibility across a wide range of operational scenarios.
