Every bar of Tree of Life Chocolate begins with high quality cacao beans thats why we select Criollo beans, the finest variety of cacao, grown sustainably in the mountainous rainforests of Peru. Tree of Life trade directly with a small, single estate farm, paying a fair price for our beans, ensuring consistency and quality for every bar and a fair deal for the growers and local community. Using traditional cultivation methods the cacao beans are harvested by hand and naturally dried at temperatures below 42°C to protect the intense flavour and valuable nutrients. Celebrating the rich, chocolate flavour Tree Of Life chocolate contains just three ingredients: Raw cacao powder and cacao butter sweetened with coconut blossom sugar. Using only vegan ingredients Tree of Life chocolate is reassuringly free from lactose, gluten, refined sugars and additives, making Tree of Life Chocolate a naturally pure choice.
