If you have a smaller area, choose our 20 square metre combo instead.Scroll down to view a video of application.The Bluestone Polishing Combo for 100 square metres includes:⇒ 5 litres of Deterdek to clean the surface⇒ 5 litres of FilaFOB sealer for unpolished stone⇒ 5 litres of FilaMatt natural-look protective wax polishNormal retail price $804.14, save 15% by buying the combo for just $683.52!!Video Guide to Polishing Travertine and other compact stoneYou can download and print the usage instructions for each product by clicking on these links: Deterdek, FilaFOB, and FilaMattInstructions for cleaning, sealing and polishing bluestone:Stage 1 – cleaning bluestone with DeterdekYou will need gloves, a bucket, a stiff broom and clean rag, and a mop and bucket.Pre-wet the surface with water, and use the broom to spread it evenly.Dilute Deterdek 1:5 in water.Spread the diluted Deterdek over a few metres of the surface at a time, wait 2-3 minutes, and then agitate with the broom.Wipe up the residue with a clean rag or mop.Rinse with plenty of water.* Do not use on acid-sensitive surfaces* Test a small area first to verify acid resistanceStage 2 – sealing bluestone for stain protection with FilaFOB You will need a paintbrush and bowl. Make sure the surface is clean and dry. Use the paintbrush to apply a coat of FilaFOB to the surface, ensuring it is well-soaked and evenly covered. Wait 24 hours before completing the treatment with a wax finish  * Test the product on a small area first to check for any colour changes. Stage 3 – polishing bluestone for a natural-effect finish with FilaMatt You will need a bucket, and a lambswool mop. Make sure the surface is clean and dry. Dilute FilaMatt with 1 cup of water per litre of product. Apply an even coat of FilaMatt with the lambswool mop. After 1 hour, apply a second coat at right angles to the first. You can walk on the floors after about 1 hour. If you want a higher level of gloss, buff with a polisher or a woollen cloth.How to Clean Bluestone on an ongoing basisUse a 1:200 dilution of FilaCleaner for regular cleaning, or a dilution of 1:30 when a more intensive clean is necessary.For spot stain removal, use Fila NoSpot for oily, greasy stains or FilaSR95 for organic (food-based) stains.These products are available to purchase at a discounted price in the Tile Cleaning and Stain Removal Combo.
