This is the fully-customizable short-sleeve home kit for the Yugoslavia (Serbia & Montenegro) 1990 World Cup campaign. This is a special shirt not only because of its design, but also because of Yugoslavia’s performance at the 1990 World Cup while wearing it. While wearing this kit in the 1998 World Cup, the Blues created history, as they weren’t in it just as spectators. In the group stage, they started by first getting humiliated by West Germany, which was a poor start. However, they recovered very fast and beat Colombia in their second match, then trashed the United Arab Emirates in the third to pass through to the Round of 16. They then progressed to the knockout stages, where they had to play the Spain in the Round of 16. The match was extremely tight, with both teams being stuck in a 1-1 draw after the Spaniards scored in the 78th minute and Yugoslavia equalized in the 84th. Then, they progressed to extra time where national hero Dragan Stojković scored the winning goal in the 93rd minute. Afterward, they played Argentina in the quarter-finals, where a goalless draw meant penalties after the match, and the Argentine won the penalty lottery 3-2, eliminating a historical Yugoslav team on a sad note.
