What it does Strong adhesion to difficult surfaces – helps paint bond to glossy or hard-to-paint areas so your finish coat lasts longer. Lightly abrade glossy surfaces for maximum bite. Porous surfaces: on very porous plaster or masonry, apply a suitable first coat method (or an appropriate sealer approach) to avoid over-absorption and patchiness. Stain severity: for heavy water stains, nicotine, or strong tannin bleed, a dedicated stain-blocking primer may be a better choice. Application methods: brush, roller, or spray. Apply even coats—don’t overwork it. Drying/recoat: allow to dry fully before sanding or topcoating; colder/damper conditions extend drying time.
